T.S. Eliot was born September 26, 1888 in St. Louis, Missouri and went to college at Harvard. After he graduated Harvard, he studied philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris for one year. Then in 1914 T.S. Eliot won a scholarship to Oxford College. He became a citizen of Britain at age 39. In 1948 Eliot was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature, and that same year he won Order of Merit. He was amazing, but unfortunately died in January 4, 1965 only at the age of 76. Thomas Stearns Eliot was a very talented man and enrolled himself in many jobs and colleges that were, and still are the best colleges in the world. He was a very brilliant poet and has many masterpieces which will always be around.
